Hi Guys, Bubba Chunk has been offline for a couple of months due to other committments, but don’t despair, I will be back imminently with even more Top Food News!
In the meantime, i leave you with this:
I really fancy some fish & chips…….mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
The long awaited opening of the new Weatherspoons boozer in Bewdley happened last week and finally, last night i ventured down to The George Hotel to give it the Bubba Chunk treatment!
As luck would have it, Thursday night is Curry Night!
Get this, for £5.59 I had:
Goan vegetable curry
Rice
Naan bread
Poppadom
Mango Chtneu
Pint of Coors Light
A bargain!
They have loads of deals on the menu like £4.99 for a salad and a glass of wine, and about a Fiver for for a pint of beer and a burger! and the portions aren’t small either.
The only thing i would say on the downside, the place was packed and it took about half an hour to get served. But popular isn’t a bad thing
I took a menu home with me so i can plan my next outing!
This is Chris Richardson’s first single, ALL ALONE, he came to life on American Idol last year and has already written songs for Idol winner Jordin Sparks and runner up Blake Lewis. Watch this space! Listen to it a couple of times and i guarantee its a grower!
I went to preston a couples of weeks ago for work, here’s my burger van experience! I kinda wimped out and had ham salad bun with a few chips, don’t think my delicate belly was quite ready for a Preston tripple burger with all the trimmings!
The man asked me if i wanted my fake burger in a ????? something, i was like, what?, a bun he says - different language up there!!!
In a bid to keep on perfecting the art of omlette cooking, I made a cheese, onion and yellow pepper omlette for tea tonight, it was very very very tasty. Perhaps could have laid off the chips as well, jeeeez! Chuck some herbs in during the cooking process, just adds to it!
Apparently, Weybridge and the neighbouring Eisha (dunno how to spell it) are major Chelsea player territories. Apparently a load of them live in a gated neighbourhood in the vacinity of our hotel. Wish I could have stayed longer to go and explore!!
When we pulled onto the driveway i was low HOLY COW! This hotel looked MEGA! My rooom was soooo posh i decided to share it with you!!
This is the bathroom - check out the steps up to the loo!
This is the room - the ceiling was practically double normal room height - this photo doesn’t do it justice!
This is the view outside my room - imagine chilling here on an early summer evening with a large pinot grigio!
This is my AWESOME cooked breakfast in the morning, all clean and fresh tasting…mmmm
