Now being one to rarely choose something from a menu, I’ve come up with some new sandwich filling ideas – you just need to get a nice local sarnie van to prepare them for you!
1. Tuna mayo, cheese & carrot
This is an amazing combo, the cheese really sets the flavours of the carrot off together with the soft texture of the tuna mayo, this sarnie (on granary) really melts in your mouth.
2. Tuna mayo, carrot & diced peppers
This one is rather crunchy, adds a new dynamic to the sometimes boring tuna mayo (on granary).
Exhibit A:

This is almost unbelievable – these here below carveries belonging to Bubba Chunk and Piglet cost a measly £1.99 each and were t-t-t-t-tasty as!

A real bargain of a carvery from the Bridge Pub in Worcester
I’m pretty sure the pub is called the Bridge and is awash with OAPs at lunchtime but for a £1.99 MILE-HIGH-FOOD-PILE-UP you gotta try it!

I can’t believe how many people have not partaken in the snack to beat all snacks – A sausage roll in a roll! See:

A sausage roll in a roll
See, when you eat a sausage roll you get all greasy and end up with pastry flakes all over your face and clothes. But if you put the sausage roll in a bread roll, you eliminate grease and flakes – bonza! Oh, don’t forget the ketchup!

Thanks to my good friend Piglet who showed me a few weeks ago how to make poached eggs (ok i was a simple fried or scrambled devotee before), I am now a slave to the poach!
However even after much practise I still managed to accidently dunk my finger in the boiling pan, break one egg during extraction from the pan and have the white straggly bits tasting of vinegar…..hmmm
Here’s one someone made earlier….unfortunately mine never looked anything like this!

Upon scouring the image banks of google for some fellow troughers i came across this little fella, going under the name ‘Free Pig’. Question: why is he free – was it a free willy moment where his owner thrust him into the big wide world shouting “Run little pig, run!”…or because unfortunately he kind of looks like the runt of the litter and no-one would exchange actual cash for the little piggy?!
Anyway, I’d take him under my wing for sure!

The long awaited opening of the new Weatherspoons boozer in Bewdley happened last week and finally, last night i ventured down to The George Hotel to give it the Bubba Chunk treatment!
As luck would have it, Thursday night is Curry Night!
Get this, for £5.59 I had:
Goan vegetable curry
Rice
Naan bread
Poppadom
Mango Chtneu
Pint of Coors Light
A bargain!
They have loads of deals on the menu like £4.99 for a salad and a glass of wine, and about a Fiver for for a pint of beer and a burger! and the portions aren’t small either.
The only thing i would say on the downside, the place was packed and it took about half an hour to get served. But popular isn’t a bad thing
I took a menu home with me so i can plan my next outing!
Pics coming soon…
